WiFi is available in you lodge – Password: clifftops

Bins & Recycling

Please separate your rubbish and recycling and place into the bins that are in the Recycling Area to the right of the ramp as you enter Clifftops, opposite the Clifftops Entrance sign.

BBQs

We have all you need to have a perfect BBQ on you patio (including a BBQ hamper from the Estate eShop). Contact the Office to request your BBQ and Utensils and we will install it on your patio. We do not keep them in situ so they stay protected and clean.

Heating

All the heating in the Lodge is underfloor heating. Set the thermostat dials in each room to the temperature you require and the heating will then gradually adjust. The electric fire can also provide additional heating in the lounge, you will find the remote with your TV remote.

Luggage Storage

Your luggage can be stored in the bed base by standing at the foot of the bed and lifting the lid.

Phone Signal

You may have some issues with your mobile phone signal due to our remote location.  In certain conditions you may even pick up some French call roaming!  We suggest you set you phone to Wi-Fi calling and if necessary you can use the iPad, to communicate using FaceTime.

TV

You can watch the standard channels by pressing the home button on the remote and then selecting from BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 or My5. Alternatively, please feel free to log into your preferred streaming service, please just remember to log out when you leave!

Safety

Please ensure that every guest staying at Clifftops is familiar with the fire safety and escape route information available behind the front door on arrival.

Estate Staff

Once you are checked in our staff will leave you to enjoy Clifftops but if you have any questions or queries during your stay please do not hesitate get in touch. The Estate Office Team are happy to answer any queries and you can visit the Office, email or text them with questions or requests.

You may see our maintenance team occasionally working around the Lodges, but they will not disturb you. Staff are identifiable by Penn Estate logos or name badges on their tops.

Windows

The Lodges have large sliding windows operated by a handle which also locks the windows into position, either closed or partially opened for ventilation over the summer months.

Damages

We want you to enjoy Clifftops and feel completely at home. We understand that during your stay some items will suffer the usual wear and tear and there may be the odd broken glass or two. Please let us know immediately if an accident does happen or something isn’t working as it should. We’d prefer to deal with a problem quickly so that you are not inconvenienced.

Covid-19

Things look a little different around Clifftops at the moment, in order for us to comply with the current COVID-19 government guidance. We encourage guests to share information with us to help manage the risk of contagion. It is especially important that all guest and visitor information is shared with us in case it is later required for any Track and Trace requests.

If any guests do develop symptoms of COVID-19 during your stay, then we ask that you please notify staff immediately via phone or email and return home.

It is now a legal requirement for all Guests to provide either of the following:-

a) Full Name and Address plus telephone number or email address.

b) Scan the QR Code
